New owner Diana Howard has a vision to build upon the business that was started three years ago, as she takes online advertising to the next level. A Financial Consultant who is originally from Saranac Lake, N.Y., Diana came to the Charlotte area ready for a change in career and lifestyle. She says LKN Savings is exactly what she was looking for.

“I have always enjoyed working with people, learning about them, and helping them grow. I came to visit Lake Norman at the end of April 2011 and fell in love with the area. I couldn’t believe people just lived here and woke up to this beautiful place every day. I came across LKN Savings to buy that week and on June 1st , 2011, purchased the business. I am so energized by the positive response from the community. The relationship building and the networking opportunities in LKN are off the charts! I especially would like to thank the LKN and MSI chambers and their members, who have embraced me with open arms.”

One thing that Diana is committed to is the idea of giving back. Beginning in 2012, LKN Savings will donate a percentage of proceeds from all "Deals" sold to non-profit organizations within the Lake Norman community. “I believe it’s important to give back, and I’m excited about the opportunity to do that. I want to help local non-profits thrive and grow. We recently added a non-profit spotlight to our Tuesday newsletters. It’s about spreading awareness for our amazing organizations in Lake Norman that need support and volunteers.”

LKN Savings offers a variety of advertising opportunities for businesses in Lake Norman. Registered with the State of North Carolina under the name Bellamara, LLC, LKN Savings is a member of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, the Mooresville-South Iredell Chamber of Commerce, and a number of Lake Norman area merchant groups.
